Just like nutrition is important for our physical bodies, heart-brain coherence is essential for stress reduction & accessing our intuition. This coherence state is like nutrition for our mental health which can be affected by chronic stress of our daily activities and rapidly changing environment. It is a project of HeartMath Institute which conducts experiments showing group meditation (called heart-focused meditation) can affect the earth's magnetic wave frequencies. A few minutes of this meditation can be beneficial not only to our immune systems & autonomic nervous system, but also to the collective coherence state of the globe.

According to Gregg, 3 minutes of practicing this technique could reduce stress levels and hence our cortisol levels in blood. This change is said to last up to 6 hours.
